The PANEL dress is a long dress and its defining feature is the panels in both sides. The dress has long ties in both sides for an adjustable and comfortable fit. At the front piece there are two darts and in back there is a keyhole opening in the neck and a slit in the center back. The dress can be made with or without topstitches.
The PANEL dress can also be made with sleeves and/or collar for round neck. The sleeves and collars are bought separately. Try the pattern designer and combine your favorite pattern.
FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS
This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. If you want a crisp look, choose a fabric that doesn’t drape too softly. For a more elegant and feminine look, opt for a fabric with a nice drape.
Fabrics such as poplin, woven viscose, and cotton twill all work well for this dress.
